These terms apply to the Plant Care iOS app (“the app”, “we”). By using the app you agree to them.
AI content disclaimer. Plant identifications, care plans, and health diagnoses in the app are generated by artificial intelligence. They are suggestions, can be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not professional horticultural, medical, or veterinary advice. Always verify plant toxicity independently and keep plants away from children and pets when in doubt. You act on AI suggestions at your own risk; we are not liable for plant loss or any harm resulting from following them.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for non-commercial purposes, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
2. Subscriptions (Plant Care Pro)
- Premium features (unlimited AI identification and diagnosis) are available via an auto-renewable subscription billed to your Apple ID.
- The price is shown in the app before you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Use “Restore purchases” in the app to re-activate a subscription on a new device.
- Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.
3. Free tier
Free use of AI features may be limited to a small number of requests. Limits may change.
4. Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully. Don't abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the app's AI endpoints, quotas, or security.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and content (excluding your photos and data) belong to us or our licensors.
6. Warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You can stop using the app at any time; subscription cancellation is managed through Apple.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of habitual residence, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
